About me
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (#134013) with a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University. I am also a State Certified Sexual Assault Counselor and Advocate. I currently serve as an active board member and Vice President of EDRS - a non profit that promotes recovery and wellness for those impacted by eating disorders by providing support, information, and education to individuals, families, professionals, and the community at large.
I began my career working in residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels of care with eating disorders and co-occurring disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and mood disorders. I have also spent time as a school-based therapist providing personalized mental health services for general education, special education, and alternative schools.
I am the Co-Founder of SheHerdPower, an Equine Guided Empowerment Program helping survivors of sexual assault reclaim their voice, self-awareness and growth by discovering soulful partnership with horses.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, drinking tea, listening to live music, creating art, spending time outside with my family, friends and dog, Nixon.
